Candice joined Professional Planning Group in 2025. She works on our Compliance team and is responsible for regulatory compliance, SEC filings, audits, compliance policies and procedures, project oversight and management. She has extensive experience in risk management, documentation and optimizing regulatory and operational performance. Candice is a member of the Compliance Committee.
Experience
Prior to joining Professional Planning Group, Candice worked for 20 years with Slocum, Gordon & Co. LLP as their Compliance Officer. Prior to her compliance role, she also spent 7 years in the banking industry working in customer service.
Education
Candice earned her Bachelor of Arts from Southern New Hampshire University in 2024, with a concentration in Finance and Ethics.
Community
Active in the community, Candice serves as Treasurer of the Rhode Island DAR Chapter – Battle of Rhode Island. She also spent 12 years as Troop Leader for Girl Scouts of Southern New England.
Family
Candice resides in Portsmouth, RI with her husband, Justin, and their family dog Walter. They have two grown children, Aron and Reese.
Hobbies
In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, reading and spending time at the beach.
